School is back in session & i am still employed - that means they did not drive me to leave ;-)
All is going great t the house. We spent about a month putting in new flooring, counter tops & appliances in our house. Our house is only 16 years old but was very outdated with linoleum and an old coil burner stove. We went to wefest, several graduation parties & weddings this summer. Two more weddings to go & our weekends will be free - i hope! All the men are still working in Chaska - long days - long drive. Andrew just got his 3rd speeding ticket - not good. I think the cops & DNR folks follow my kids around. They are good kids - just forgetful ;-) Ray continues to work hard to support our electric bill and my shopping habit. Actually - like i tell him - i never spend more than i earn. although this year between the new car & house project I am way over budget! Went to the craft fair sat & sun. bought Lily a Christmas present for her room. She is my sunshine & such a good girl. She has the best mother too. Trisha is the best! And daddy too. I saw a saying at the craft fair. "My finger may be small but i can still wrap mt daddy around it" That's Brandon ;-) All for now. Sue

Update

It's been a while. We have a new addition to the family. Brandon & Trisha had their baby girl - Lillian Rose Laubach - on January 27th. She weighed 7.11 and was 21 inches long. She's now 8 weeks old & smiles at us ;-). She is well loved at our home. We get to see her about twice a week. Grandma (me) even got to babysit a couple times. She's a keeper!
Adam, Andrew, & Ray are all working bridge construction in Chaska. The drive gets tiring & they are worn out every night! Andrew & Adam just bought new 4 wheelers. We all have fun driving them.
Due to an accident (a piece of farm equipment decided to park itself on the road in my lane - in the dark) I bought a new car in January from Carco. A Volkswagen Passat wagon. I LOVE it! It's like a short minivan! The best thing is that I also got a new friend out of the deal - June!
I recently went to Cancun with girlfriends for 6 days. We had too much fun! The weather was great & we met a lot of fun people down there. more later.

Welcome to the Laubach family blog. I, mama Laubach, will post what is happening here at our Laubach hobby farm in central Minnesota. We live on 74 acres of wooded /wet land on a small river. As most of you know there is plenty of action around here. Rarely does a day go by that we do not have company and extra guests at the dinner table. We live an uncomplicated life out here in the country and enjoy it very much.
